The days of companies driving growth through price increases are over. A combination of inflationary pressures and economic worries means tech leaders must find creative ways to help their companies grow faster or achieve their margin objectives with fewer resources. CIOs are responding quickly.
Slightly more than half (55%) of tech leaders surveyed by Gartner in late 2022 said they had already slowed down hiring for new positions. Another 52% implemented across-the-board spending cuts.
